Nigel Cabourn and cult Japanese designer Mihara Yasuhiro have come together to create a shoe which has a unique take on a classic basketball shoe. Using Maison Mihara's trademark Original sole design, the rubber sole was made using a hand shaped mould to give it that signature rippled shape, before being put together via a traditional shoe making method, known as Opanka. Sewing the uppers, lining and sole together using double-needle stitching, allows the sneakers to have a soft and flexible feel to them.

Unlike other methods, where sneakers are dyed in separate sections, The Low Cut Sneakers have been over-dyed together to give them that worn in patina throughout, from tongue to toe-cap.
